Nice! I should really pick up the other two in the series, I really want to read them because I know i will love them, but it took me quite a while to read the first since it's so long. So I guess I'm putting it off in favour of reading shorter books haha, but I will get to them eventually.

The serpents are the bit of a twist she wants you to know about. I won't spoil it for you, but I will tell you I read the series something like 15 years ago and I don't remember any of these characters by name, but that twist? I remembered that twist.

I'd say give Ship of Magic a go! Found it to be her best book :)

Hahaha at the start when you're talking about titles... I ALWAYS get them mixed up, they're worded so similarly. :P Remaining spoiler free... yes, there is a point to the serpents. But in Hobb's fashion, she never rushes anything and it always works in her favour. So you'll absolutely enjoy that later on!

I have read all of them. it comes together so bautifully with the 3 books and also draws amazing arcs for each character. Even the ones you would not expect to be expanded. I just love hobb. I had no idea that the other series was also part of the same world. I might end up reading those too.

I’m hoping to start the farseer trilogy in January but, I have heard it starts off slow. Im hoping to read this trilogy also or I might start with it... I’m unsure😂. Awesome review/video! 💖
