Maritime Education and Training uses many tools and the most modern among them all are the Bridge and Engine Room Simulators.
In this video, I'll show you how training is conducted using simulators.

Pretty neat Chief! High tech marine simulators didn't exist in my day, really good idea, wish we'd had them, a great training tool to be sure. I did some training on early variations of flight simulators and found them helpful and instructive I am sure maritime simulators are as effective. Once again, thanks for an informative, interesting and very entertaining video!!! All the best to you and yours.

Thanks Chief, I was hoping you would do one on Simulation training. In my experience with aviation, I've found simulators to be invaluable and often underutilized. What you say about complacency, the importance of situational awareness and proficiency under pressure are essential in aviation but something that's largely assumed to be obtained through experience over being instructed.

Greetings Chief MAKOi. Congratulations on reaching 100,000 subscribers. Your videos are by far among the very best on KZfaq. I just finished your video on photography and got a great idea. You seriously should consider authoring a hardcover book on seafaring. Fill it with onboard and shore leave photos that you have personally taken. Offer it in several languages. It would definitely be sought after by a global audience. Sell a million copies and you and your family will be rolling in dough.

Can you please do a vlog on ship working? Like how is it run? How is it navigated? Is captain present all the time in starboard or the crew take turns? And do the captain comes from a different branch than engineers? I mean that there are multiple branches serving in the same ship or the engineer get eventually promoted to captain

Now I am highly interested to complete the cadet training. I keen to build up my career in the ship. I have seen your blog many times, and I want to say that, those are the most crucial blogs I have ever seen, also quite informative as well. Chief, I wanna be your student.
