I liked Mike Baldwin but he deserved this, he got too cocky and opened his mouth to often, i think that is was one of the reasons why Ken hated him because he was cocky.

People were horrible to Hayley when she first appeared on the street.. I remember someone in the underwear factory standing in front of the women's toilets protesting that she should use the men's toilets

So much has happened in terms of acceptance and understanding. In 2018 Emmerdale has it's very first Real Life Transgender which I think is great. I loved the guys in the back one of which semi ducked as if the Beer was going to hit him. One of the most memorable moments in The Rovers.
