You know what? This is just a rehearsal. The lights are not dimmed, the staff is bustling behind, Dame Shirley is not wearing an evening gown nor make up. And she's slaying it like no one else would. She's a diamond herself which we didn't deserve.

This might be one of my favorite videotaped performances. I love the rawness in her vocal and it really shows what a truly talented artist she is singing live. Ohhhh...If I was in the audience during this performance oh how I would have died and gone back to heaven.
