I love your idea! I grew up with four generations in one house. I would hear bits and pieces about life during the depression and the years after. But when you're young, you really don't realize how precious these stories are. I am so sorry I never sat down with my family and documented their memories. They're all gone now, and the stories went with them.

My husband is 75 and I am 68yrs old. I value the memories my mom told me! My husband remembers things I dont. I remember when we got colored tv, andwhen I could start wearing pants to school! Would luv to hear your memories!❤❤ I watch a channel sometimes called Gemini thrifts and she does what sold videos.

Oh yes I would love to hear about your take on the 1940s. My mom is 85 yrs old but she never talks about her young life. Im very interested in how people lived in more frugal times. Im 62 and neither one of my grandmothers ever talked about their young lives either. Since their lives were so much better when I was growing up they didnt want to talk about strugling times. That is what I think anyway. My dad was killed in a car acciident when I was 1 yrs old so I didnt get to have a fathers opinion.
