Crazy part is bro he’s not even that good and he beat it! It just takes some serious determination and you have to adapt and think on the flash. This guy got through the whole game too when it looked like he didn’t know if you press circle down longer, you dash for a longer time/ are invincible for a longer time

Based on the nature of the game I’m not really sure what else they could do here. They couldn’t add in an endgame since you don’t keep anything really. I’d say the game is highly replayable though given the procedural generation of the worlds, and I get the rooms are mostly the same just in different orders, but if you like the combat each run can feel like a new take. And they do have a challenge terminal you unlock in the ship, where you can participate in daily challenges. Maybe adding some kind of arcade mode could be something. I don’t know. I’m curious if they will release any dlc for this game:

@@mandrews6282 they are apparently working on dlc but that's not the point. The roguelite genre encourages a lot more content in the game, plus increasing difficulty modes for players who like challenge. There's no real replayability in the game atm.

@@smellypatel5272 I’m just not sure what else they could have added. What were your ideas? I mean you can’t keep your stuff on any run past level 3, and that leaves you with 3 biomes to work with for an endgame. And adding new levels without adding more story doesn’t work. All I could think of was an arcade style mode but that is the daily challenge with high scores and leaderboards. Maybe a more robust version than a one a day? I mean you already have to go through the game twice to get through act 3 and get the real, or some say secret ending and the 6th house sequence. So you have to play it twice just to beat the game. The platinum trophy is the real challenge mode though. To get that, you need to play through each biome a lot of times hoping for datalogs and glyphs to spawn to collect them all. And you must complete all 6 challenge rooms, one in each biome. And those rooms are challenges in themselves. To truly complete this game you have to beat it multiple multiple times. So I’m not sure what else they could add that would add to this. Games can have roguelike elements and not work with any endgame style material.

I could definitely see this one coming to PC. Especially considering Sony is more interested in porting it’s properties to PC. Prob not for at least another year or two unless they change strategy. They seem to be easing into PC releases by delaying them out. I mean Days Gone was like 2 years before it went to PC so the timeframe is getting shorter.

@@vexruby5619 never really played dark souls but heard it was difficult and if you die you basically lose everything and that’s exactly what happens in this game once you die no matter what world/ dimension you’re in you go to the start (the crash site) with none of ur equipment besides permanent upgrades with no saves and if you play for a very long time and u end up closing the application you go from the start and lose all your stuff so better to play until you die

Why do people always seem to label something as a discount version of another game? This is the first shot by these devs at a AAA game of the genre they specialize in and they did very well. Don’t compare them to square enix who have been making AAA games since the early 2000s.

Wouldn’t say discount game at all, I’m a big big fan of nier, and personally I think these bosses are much more interesting than all the bosses in nier.
