There is no day off on a farm, Jake. Have an idea for Carl’s feed bucket. Put a post away from the fence outside the pasture. make it so that the feed bucket can be hung on it. That would make it outside the goats reach, but still within Carl’s reach. If you look at LE feeding Carl from the bucket, his position is about where the post should be.

😂 Carl was like get out my face while I’m eating 😂 That eye looks sore ! It could be something as simple as a small piece of hay/dirt or anything small that’s gotten into your eye and infected it, I hope it heals soon for you ! over here in Scotland we have to go to the opticians if we have any problems with our eyes and if they find something they can’t treat they then send you to the hospital 💖

Glad you went to the doctor Jake. I had something similar with my left eye a while back. I think it was from a backed up sinus infection. They gave me drops I had to use 4 times a day and oral antibiotics 3 times a day for about 10 days. It took care of the problem. I think Tex is beginning to like you and sort of understands some of what you tell him. He seems pretty smart.

Moo is a gentle giant he's so sweet. He deserves to be loved on the rest of his life. Glad he was given to the sanctuary not taken to a auction or even worse could of happened 😓 he's got lots of buddies to hang out with day and night. Tex is a grumpy old man you just have to love him.

I love how Moo stops and breaths at the camera as much to say didn't Jake say I probably wouldn't get up and go out to the pasture,, I love How Tex knows he can't go with the best, so smart of him and a little sad but we know things will change for him in the near future hopefully.. When I first started following this page about 15 months ago I wasn't really a Tex fan but he has grown on me .. I hope your eye is soon better, its too bad you don't know the cause , both of my son's eyes used to get like that when he was a kid because of his seasonal allergies to grasses, hay etc, He would have to take allergy meds during that time and take some precautions for example he would never be able to go on hay rides etc...sorry about phone , I shouldnt have but I couldn't help but laugh at the end

Good morning Jake. Tex likes listening to you and trusts you as you become a friend with him. You have taken your time and let him become closer at his pace instead of rushing him. He is one handsome bull. Pablo is everywhere except where you think he would be by the pond. Likes to follow humans around but I hope he quits picking on so many of the littles. Your eye is it painful or just bothers you because it is hard to see out of with the swelling. I thought maybe pink eye at first but I try not to guess. I have a problem with my right eye during the start of spring and winter. It goes red, lot of drainage from the tear duct, and gunk in the corner and eyelashes that get clued shut somedays. It becomes itchy when it happens and I am forever rubbing it which doesn't help. They say allergies but don't know what it is except for dust. Well have a great Sunday and you and LE did a great job on the clean up of the barns. Take care.

My husband's twin sister had something like your eye happen to her and it ended up in both eyes and her face. It was an allergy. She was in the hospital for a week or more. She also has asthma and was having trouble breathing. Prayers you get better soon Jake. I am so glad you went to the clinic for the eye. I knew they would freak out. Usually they call in the eye specialist that is on call for any eye emergency; that is how much they freak out over eye stuff. They take it very seriously. I think your eye problem would have only been trumped by a gun shot wound. But not too many drive bys in Plum Grove. I hope that medicine works. If it does not work, please please go right back to the clinic. They will get the occular specialist in to look at your eye. Sheesh. So sorry Jake. And Moo taking his well-earned Celebrity Close Up was Cute AF.

Ive been watching every single video of yours sonce my husband is active duty navy underway for 3 weeks now. I have a 12 week old daughter who coos and chatters when you come on the tv. Im 26 years old and i love the ima survivor channel and yours and i plan to tackle each channel from start to finish then keep up with new videos. Its helped me so much with the depression and anxiety from my husband going to sea .

Jake, if the swelling doesn’t get better, go back and have them check for a staph infection. The same thing happened to my son and it put him in the hospital. I don’t want to scare you but better safe than sorry. He had to have IV antibiotics for a couple days. They were worried that the infection would spread. He had no idea how it happened…possibly a spider bite but they really didn’t know what happened. I pray that yours will get better with what they’ve already given you! ❤️

I hope your eye clears up quickly. However, whatever happened, it will take some time for your body to rid itself of it. I know its not great to have to look at it or to not be able to see to good out of it. But usually it takes anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks for it to get better. But the shot & antibiotics should help speed up the process.

Hope your eye gets better soon. My experience was similar at the hospital....took me right away and had to call in eye specialist from the Eye Institute.He really didn't know either. Nothing in my eye&ct scan was fine. It seems an over reaction of the immune system that might have been fighting particles that caused irritation/ infection and my body didn't stop and just kept attacking the good stuff too!!! ( Lupus is a disease that behaves similar, over active immune response leads to infammation) I don't have Lupus but I had been trimming trees and yard work prior. ( wear glasses or goggles when working or driving 4wheeler in the woods) Your body makes the infection worse by attacking itself. If the swelling doesn't go down, or it hurts like your eye is going to explode please go back to the doctor or hospital. I had intravenous antibiotics everyday for 14 days. It was a different kind of antibiotic... for this kind of thing. Don't mess around. I'm sure that butt shot will do the trick and in 48/ 72 hrs the swelling will noticably go down. My infection deformed the whole side of my head /face. And it finally healed and I am back to the way I looked. Beautiful, symmetrical and smiling.... So Jake just stay on top of it. Your "handsome" will be back in no time. Love ya Gorgeous man 🙃❤ ⭐🇨🇦 HOPE my experience gives you some reassurance that all will be well. It did take quite a few weeks (just saying so you don't freak, hang in there!)
