In this episode, we will spend the day with ShiShi Yamazaki, an animation artist based in Tokyo.
First, we will head towards Machida, located in Tokyo's suburbs, where ShiShi was born and raised. Machida, located in the southwest of Tokyo, is a peaceful commuting town surrounded by nature. ShiShi mentions she often comes here to find inspiration, walking alongside the Sakai river while listening to music.
ShiShi, now based in the city, works in Nakameguro, one of Tokyo's most popular and trendy areas. She will tell us more about her work and how she discovered the rotoscoping technique, which consists of tracing over live footage frame by frame. Due to her unique animation style, ShiShi has worked for multiple large brands in Japan, in addition to music videos and other animation work. Its interesting how she choose to potray herself. Laying herself bare for everyone to see, in a way, and making her character into her brand. Dont see that often and thats rly fun

You guys really are doing the lord's work. Wow. So much incredible content here that no one else even thinks about. I wish it was more popular. Yamazaki-san is so cute. I love how she creates like an alter-ego in her animation and some of the content of the ads is amusing, and much more raw than I expected. Which is a good thing.

Je pourrais dire à chaque épisode. Qu'importe le sujet ou l'invité, toco toco arrive toujours à me passionner. La réalisation y est pour beaucoup, soignée, élégante. Les cadrages sont admirables, le montage rythmé comme il faut, le choix des musiques et des ambiances est toujours judicieux. Tous les épisodes sont un moment précieux pour moi, être transporté pendant quelques minutes au Japon pour une promenade envoûtante accompagnée de personnalités fascisantes. J'ai toujours été passionné par le Japon et sa culture, et quand je regarde toco toco je le suis davantage à chaque fois. Si un jour je pars là-bas pour de bon ce sera probablement en parti grâce à vous. Merci à l'équipe de nous partager tout ça, C'est génial ce que vous faites. J'attends les prochains épisodes avec impatience.

La cultura japonesa por lo visto se es muy gráfica, es decir que los medio de expresión son los visuales como el dibujó, las esculturas y otras artes plásticas, o la fotografía y los audiovisuales, al menos esa es la impresión que me da a mi
