Thank you, Shivani, for this interview with Dr. Rajan. Its always interesting to hear what a highly trained medical professional has to go through. So many people express frustration when dealing with the medical community, and interviews like this go a long way towards helping the layperson empathize with their local physician. This interview made me subscribe to your channel. Keep up the great work.

Oh the yoni steam…..someone was advocating a place in Leeds for me to go and get my vag steamed. 🤣 apparently the vajajay benefits from a spiritual cleanse! Personally I’m not trying to get steam burns down there! I’m good with meditation for my spirituality 😅

Around the last 20 minutes of this podcast, Shivani brings up her obsession with getting six pack abs, and everything the good doctor said, warning of the negative effects of that goal, is true. The level of low body fat needed to see abdominal muscularity is unhealthy for most women to sustain. What was not mentioned in this discussion is that South Asians, on average, carry a disproportionate amount of fat in our midsection. Hence, even at the same body fat percentage where our Caucasian or Black counterparts can see visible abs, we won't be able to see them because we are, on average, genetically predisposed to have more central adiposity. This is why you see, even among some of the most genetically gifted Bollywood actresses, who have the best trainers and dieticians money can buy, their abdominal definition is no where near what White actresses achieve in Hollywood. Its a hard pill to swallow, but genetics doesn't play fair.

i would rather he told the truth about what really goes on in theses nhs hospitals? in 2016 there was a study done in the usa concluding that the third biggest killer in the usa after heart disease and cancer was medical negligence? the nhs is going that way? paying out billions each year and rising? its advance plumbing at best?more doctors leaving the profession because and i quote you can't lie anymore? most doctors have private work?which according to the GMC directly harms the nhs?private work bumping up there nhs salary by another £500,000 more for surgeons?its mostly all about money and status?doctors are taught to lie for obvious reasons? they are told you are a moron because you believe the lie of you can always trust your doctor? im not against this man but his working all the time? but he had enough time to make videos and editing seeming while being paid by the nhs and he says he would not write a book but he as a book out?no one wants to do there job? there all more interested in social media everyone wants to be famous?and the that in my opinion is why the usa study and the billions the nhs are paying out is because of it doctors should be bound by the ethical code of practice?its not about what he believes in? like he as morals? you can i can but being a doctor its not and he knows that? bit like a politician gets caught break a code they resign?most or nearly all doctors are narcissistic? good luck to him but he should be telling you is why the nhs is becoming a very dangerous place and a lot of it is down to social media?

I wish the medical staff would have more experience and knowledge of a whole food plant based diet without salt, oil and sugar. Education of patients to not drink alcohol, exercise, sleep and diet so important now especially as the medical profession is changing. Prevention is key because will be unaffordable and people will be uninsurable.

I think personnaly poeple have To take care of themself & not waiting that and untrustable gouvernement, cause more or less, they are corrupted, To tell them wath To eat, or not to eat or drink or do they have To make sports or yoga etc...wich water we can drink, thé water is polluted & undrinkable, oxydatif evrywhere...so it's a global issue, not only About health

£60k for a specialist surgeon is not true at all. Unless he is barely doing any hours. NHS surgeons can earn well into six figures. 7 figures is possible. And private get paid even more than NHS. I think he misspoke. I think he was referring to unqualified doctors who are still training when he said £60k. Doctors in the UK come in all forms. Some are really good people. Some are motivated by greed. When I was a student, many people were researching about what areas of medicine had the highest salaries, and making their decisions accordingly.
