Up in the Hunua Ranges? I used to tramp that area years ago, felt some bad juju in certain spots, some of the boys reckoned they'd felt / heard weird stuff to. Only other place in NZ I've felt something similar was deep in the Tararuas above Shannon. I'm not saying there's not something there but it felt more of a spiritual presence than physical.

I interviewed a hunter who told me about him and his mate where camping in wild bush and heard this human scream next to their tent in wild bush. I'm finishing up a documentary with interaction in it and its quite shocking. How much I show to the public I'm struggling with. My goal is to record them and understand who they are. woah, I just remembered a similar encounter, we were doing a Burma trail and the parents were waiting along the path to scare us. There was one parent I saw and heard, I remember being frozen with fear, but only for a shirt time, but they never tried to scare me, and I soon encountered the next parent. I even remember asking the parents and teachers if they were the one waiting at that point, and none of them were. I also encountered the smell of what I thought was a dead body at the top of the Kaimai Falls, I looked around everywhere but couldn't find anything. Crazy to think they might be out there
