Big ol' cheers for watching this one, no lengthy awkward story this time so i'll keep this brief. I almost squeezed 2 shlogs into one but felt maybe it's best to keep the 'shit vlog' mentality and separate them into short videos. By short I mean under 20/25mins. Propane isn't so bad after it burns. In fact, it's the cleanest burning fossil fuel. In a big warehouse like this, that little salamander isn't going to be an issue.

@@rallywagon261 In the big warehouse no, wont be an issue. But running in that small room is cause for concern. Better to be safe than sorry. For the cost of a couple monoxide alarms, could potentially save someone's life.

I'm told that slow oxygen starvation can be pleasantly intoxicating, you apparently get kind of giddy followed by sleepy drunk then, unfortunately, dead.

We use propane heaters in our home during the winter! Really warms the place up, just make sure you got a monoxide detector.

Guys, they already have a Carbon Monoxide detector, it's called Chris Trott, as the saying goes: "if he ain't breathin', we'll all be leavin'™" (on a serious note though, obviously would be a good idea to get one if not already, even those of you scrubs watching with gas appliances at home!)

I was thinking the same thing. Definitely need to get one, even with the tank stored outside. As long as the heater is used indoors.

The whole bit with setting up the Fireball heater is giving me flashbacks to all the jank crap I had to do when I used to work at a carwash. Imagine the mechanism pulling cars through the tunnel being kept operational by a pair of vice grip pliers holding a piece in place because they've been JB welded to a bit of angle iron and the handles are zip-tied to keep them closed. Worked for 6 months before the owner could be bothered to order a $25 part!

We use that same heating setup, with the large canister, for parties / wedding times when inviting large groups of family over. Usually we use them to heat a large outdoor tent.

Proly someone already commented this: but for gas leak check we use sponge with dish soap. Dab the foam from the sponge over the connections. If the foam bubbles thats a leak. Stay safe.

i worked in a car breakers yard and we used to use those big LPG cylinders and space heaters too. looked like a similar setup to this aswell. garage-style door and just a big concrete room lol

The tank is fine bois, wrench it down snug if you need to check for leaks a little soapy water will show if it's leaking any propane

I giant propane tank next to a heater called "Fireball"......hopefully there isn't an abrupt end to the Shlogs... Also, love the Shlogs! And the concert promo was cool...if only I lived in UK 😞

Storing the propane inside isn't great, but using the heater inside is much worse. You need CO detectors at the very least. A safer bet would be using an electric heat pump type of AC/Heater or just a mains powered heater. Hopefully you guys can 'breathe air with no CO-don't die', lol.

I think the thing I love most about MS&TDN is when they merge their 6 heads together to become the eldritch music-demon on the front of the poster. It's a great trick if you can do it. Loving the shlogs boiks! You're able to make a video which is 66% figuring out how to turn on a propane heater into genuine entertainment and that's pretty awesome.

Those gas bottles are safe as to keep inside boys. ive been using propane tanks for my heater and boiler for some time now and can be fairly economical money wise. maybe arm yourselves with carbonmonoxide alarms and a soapy spray bottle to search for leaks to be safe

You could install an air heating pump instead (dunno the English term since I’m Swedish). Bigger installation cost but you will have a much better monthly cost instead of getting propane all the time 😅

2PM streams are the worst when you're a night worker, but I got up especially for today's. Was ecstatic to see that it was rehearsals for the Dednutz gigs! Had my ticket for London since 2020, and have never been more pumped. Was also impressed by the size of Mr. Sam's massive setlist, too. Already sounding awesome.

Genuine advice, if you have a gas connection (especially under pressure) and you want to check for leaks, just wet the connection points with some soapy water. If there's a leak, there will be bubbles, please don't die

i use a slightly bigger heater in work that runs off of diesel which is much more manageable. also using red diesel also helps with cost of running. they are very good little heater tho :)
