@AdhirSingh_SA_19952 ай бұрын
I think because the Zonda was just so amazing that anything Pagani did after that was destined to fail in the general public's eyes. In my opinion, this car isn't beautiful like a Ferrari 458, but has so much of shock and awe, as well as this Steampunk like vibe, its just a marvel of engineering. I would own one in a heartbeat. Just the option of having a 850+ hp manual V12 is insane enough in itself, and the attention to detail is second to none. Also, this is probably one of the only hypercars that can do thousands of miles/kilometers without half of it falling to pieces.
@all-caps39272 ай бұрын
@@AdhirSingh_SA_1995 I don't understand how everything after the zonda was destined to fail? Do you know what a failure is? The Huayra was one of the most successful hypercars of the 2010s and is the dream car of so many people, the BC iterations are also widely considered to be the most beautiful and well built hypercars ever. Definitely not a failure, pagani is a household name.
@AdhirSingh_SA_19952 ай бұрын
@@all-caps3927 I think you misunderstood what I meant, apologies for not elaborating. I, in no way am saying that the sequels to the Zonda were actual failures. What I meant to say was that, people judge it as a failure by perception (mostly based on appearance), which is why I said 'in the general public's *eyes*'. When the Huayra was unveiled, a lot of people, journalists, and enthusiasts criticised it for the way it looked, the new engine which was no longer naturally aspirated, and for the name (which is stupid). I personally thought the Huayra was better looking than the Zonda but was equally as critical about the rest (not the name though). I also never said it was not well built, but again, should've elaborated on that. Hope this clears that up.
@all-caps39272 ай бұрын
@@AdhirSingh_SA_1995 I thought you meant that in all honesty. Anything after the Zonda was inherently going to be almost impossible to top. But it’s like comparing the F40 to an SP3 for example, they’re masterpieces in their respective eras. Had you released the SP3 in place of the F50, there would probably be a lot of upset people because it would’ve looked weird and too futuristic. Due to the nature of pagani releasing cars 10 years after each other, they’ll all be inherently alien initially. But there’s seldom reason to say that this model won’t grow on others just like its predecessor. The steam punk vibe will almost 100% grow on people as more manufacturers take different design philosophies as time progresses and people will see the pagani from its beauty. Besides that I’ve never ever heard anyone complain about the name ‘Huayra’ 😭😭 once people understand the story behind it I think most would love it at first listen. I also think it rolls off the tongue really nicely.
