@@OfficialLiveTrains yeah, that pickup trying to be a hi-railer was a real shocker! Several commenters suggested the driver may have been DUI or following his GPS. I have no use for GPS or Google Maps, theyve got me in a fix a few times, so i rely on a good old-fashioned paper road map, theyre 99.9% correct 99.9 % of the time! Yes, your narration was great!, saved a LOT of guesswork about locations, etc!

The guy in the pickup at T&NO: It's 10 pm, so I don't think the bars are closed yet in Texas. Maybe he's sloshed from somewhere else, friends house after work, or a bar. I don't think the evil weed is legal yet in Texas, so slight chance he's toasted. If he doesn't know the area his gps may have directed him to turn right and he did it too soon. (Happens to me a lot!) Or he just wasn't paying attention because he was distracted by his cell phone or girlfriend. Very slim chance but maybe he thought this was a good time to play chicken with a train. Like in Ground Hog Day! "I think he'll turn before we do." "You douche, you've killed us all!" "Yea, I know, exellerating isn't it?"
