Remember please...great societies are usually remembered because of their music and art. I have yet to hear an anthropologist speaking to the media about discovering math ditto sheets that show us what an amazing culture must have existed at that location. Raise our kids to explore life. Teach our kids to always learn and never be afraid to grow and try new things. This man is the perfect model of what our school teachers should embrace. Well done.

Easier said than done lol. I was a music teacher earlier this year teaching 30 students each day, grades 3-4th. It was an amazing experience, but sometimes you do gotta be strict on them and scold them because...well obviously they're kids 😅. They're like ticking time hombs waiting to erupt with energy any moment

I walked into the YMCA in Dallas Texas when I was seven years old, to take my swimming lesson, and there was a man all alone in a big room playing Boogie Woogie on the piano - and I was transfixed to the spot! The power of its rhythm captivated me, and unknown to that Boogie Woogie piano player, I was to become a lifelong professional drummer, eventually playing with many of my jazz idols. Boogie Woogie is actually a style of 12-bar blues, and as such is the foundation of much of our American rhythm & blues, jazz, and rock & roll.

I like that he quite musically demonstrated what The Ode to Joy means... "all men are brothers in joy"... music is such universal joy. Speaking for myself, I started piano lessons 3 weeks ago, and Ode to Joy is the first piece I deciphered and tried to play, in a very simplified beginner's version. And it's, in my opinion anyway, the most beautiful thing ever written and the one single piece of music that should be saved, if all music was to disappear. And it rocks as boogie woogie too ! Yeah for Ludwig Van B !!!

@@seeker1432 I'm not talking about competition. Let me explain step by step: 1. Your initial comment reads "The interaction with the kids was great. But her face at the piano when you started to play was priceless." 2. I was listening to a friend play around on a piano, just doing little scraps of songs, and noticed that some of it sounded off somehow. When I told him, he got really intense and started playing a bunch of songs and asking me, "Does that sound right? How about now? How about now?" I had no idea what was going on until he stopped, turned to me with an amazed expression, and said: "You have perfect pitch." The irony is that I have no musical talent. I don't play an instrument. I can't carry a tune. I've never studied musical theory and have no idea how to read sheet music. I've since discovered that I can tune a guitar by ear (although I had a friend complain that I tuned his guitar in the wrong chord -- I have no idea what that means), but it is otherwise totally useless.

Went from there to the organ and piano which helped me with learning typing in high school. Got wounded in the war and can't play, but I really enjoy this!!!! I will bet people are still smiling after they get home, and perhaps banging out some new tunes!

This guy looks, talks and humorously acts like a dear Brit friend of mine who lived here in the States. A true doppelganger going on here. Sad to say my dear friend passed away a few years ago. So, this brought tears and joy to my heart and soul. The young family was knocked out beautifully! Thank you, Brendan.

The expressions on those little girl's faces was priceless, then their mother's faces were just as lovely. Lovely little families. I wish them rainbows. Well done Brendan.
