9 years?! you’re dedicated!! you’ll be fluent 1 day, i know you will 🩷 everyone learns at different speeds. for me i’m lucky to be singaporean chinese, i use both english & mandarin daily, but my mandarin isn’t that good too.

I'm Brazilian 🇧🇷 I speak English and I decided to learn Chinese beacuse of this man's videos: I'm in my 46th day in a row, I went from an absolute "0" to a couple of Chinese friends already. I want to be just like that, you're a huge inspiration man, keep it up!

On the Russian University they used to learn the carrer with an additional lenguage. All of them reach a high level on this one. Not extrange to find a russian keeping this ability, in chinese also.

à chaque fois que je vois ça ce genre de vidéos, je suis toujours agréablement surpris par la réaction positive de la communauté asiatique en général. Au début ils sont choqués, interrogatifs puis super contents (du moins, ils en ont l'air). Ils sont plus loquaces et joyeux. Ça change de l'image que j'avais d'eux 👍👍

Love this channel! Just got directed to it and now subscribed. My languages are so limited. Have taken conversational Mandarin, like 3 times ...until I get lost and start again. 😂😮 I admire people like you and one of my co-workers who are gifted in this area (His advice, like he did, is to just live in the country for a year and it will come). My Korean even worse. I guess I gotta up my game 🤞

Always find it funny how here , a foreigner speaks English and it’s more of a relief for most people just realizing they can communicate easily. But that’s it. Love how in all these other places someone speaks in their language and it gauges some interest and wholesomeness

@@jaxthejaximus6296 cuz it is, its literally the most spoken language in the world and the international medium. english is also generally taught with the native language since its the standard. also, if a french guy came up to you and spoke chinese or a chinese guy came up to you and spoke swahili, you would be surprised wouldnt you?

@@jaxthejaximus6296 no, thats the most natively spoken language, english beats both forms of chinese (mandarin and cantonese) by about 300 million speakers. even if chinese was more spoken, most chinese people mostly reside in well, china and english is still the international standard, even if im wrong, my ealier points still stand
