I am Haitian and always watch all the videos about Rwanda This country inspires me a lot for their progress, discipline and their desire to show the world all that can be accomplished when the will, the determination and the desire to succeed are united. I hope that Haiti will follow Rwanda as I always ask our government and the people because the whole country has to be rebuilt and free of crimes, kidnappings, corruptions, poverties and selfishness and lack of progress and discipline. Hope also that black people all over the world as well as the whole African countries will be stunning and remarkably clean and modern like Rwanda. ♥️💯💪🤘👄🇭🇹

Lovely comment . African people should seek cooperation with each other and integration before looking to the West . have you heard about the "Haitian House " in Kigali ? I think I saw some report online about it recently about cultural evenets organized. So I think that's a proof that people from each country have already established ways of cultural cooperation in order to learn from each others. I think it's a good start.

I was born in Nairobi 1960 and left 1975, Nairobi was clean paradise, population was very low perhaps 5 to 10% of today, went out of control because there was not enough infrastructure, jobs, etc. Crime was very low and safe to travel in the night, not any more. But its a beautiful country and miss it very much. We had shops in River Road and Cross Road, fruit and vegetables. Before independence my dad had a hotel on River Road and Jomo Kenyatta mzee had beer in our hotel. My dad came to Kenya in 1927. We feel part of Kenya even today.

of course a thieving president / dictator erm, Paul K., can use stolen resources from Neighboring Congo to make his city look clean, yet this Man @0:55 says his hungry ( he speaks as translator) , ain't that a PARADOX? you Sheoples can put one plus one together. And just accepts the smoke and Mirrors!

Kigali Rwanda's roads look way better than a lot of the streets here in Southern California (Los Angeles area). Kigali is clean...here in LA A LOT of places are dirty. Kigali is absolutely beautiful.

I discovered this video yesterday and this is the third time I’m watching it. I’m an African from the Diaspora living in New York City for more than 2 decades. This video triggered so much thinking in my head. Isn’t this a blueprint for city planning, development and management for other subsaharan Africans countries? I’ve been following the progress in Rwanda and I’m always really impressed by the Rwandans drive to improve their lives and their country. With little financial resources what they achieve is impressive. Clean and functional cities. With $ 600,000 they can pave an entire neighborhood? That’s less than my house here. It’s called ultimate efficiency. 👏🏾 Thanks Willie you just won a new subscriber. Today is MLK day I just made a virtual tourism visiting Kigali from the comfort of my living-room. I watched it on my large TV screen and the experience is just amazing like if I were there. Especially the quality of the video is excellent. Walking around the neighborhood, the video resolution.👌🏿 Please could you do a video (amateur reporting like the ones you’ve been doing) on their bus system. It looks like Kigali is trying to build some sort of mass transit. I’ve seen the ones in Dar Es Salaam, Addis Ababa, Dakar Senegal, Lagos and Abuja started one too, Abidjan is building one as well, Nairobi is trying too, it’s sad that Accra has nothing going on. Mass-transit systems are the backbones of any functional city. Keep up the good work. 🙏🏾👏🏾

I agree with the point that you made about it being unrealistic for one city to be the business hub of Africa, in East Asia alone you have Singapore as well as Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei and the list goes on. In Africa you could have Kigali alongside cities like Johannesburg, Nairobi, Accra, etc. who can serve their respective regions. however, I still feel that the African free trade agreement has more benefits than negatives as people from different countries will be able to access these different cities easier.

Brother Willie!....I was just in Kigali two weeks ago, I didn't stay very long before going back to Uganda. I also found out the hard way that my MTN sim card in Uganda doesn't work in Rwanda...NOONE has told anybody that in any videos that I've watched between Rwanda and Uganda. I would have most certainly reached out if I could have. I do plan on coming back very soon...I did chat briefly with Jai Essence...she is 💯 lovable trip. I'll be coming back soon ..you know this Visa dance some of us do....love the work my friend, stay safe, continue traveling.
