(Obvious the real recording for this was made using the autotune, but since it is a video and it has some effects, I don't know if it was represented by an autotune too [and I haven't had a chance to keep watching it actually])

@@omar91og In fact, it was not autotune, the sound effect applied to their voices is known as "Flanger" (This is what is called in most software programs that edit sound and sound mixer consoles) It is a distortion effect that gives a metallic touch to any sound or the human voice. And the first time that this effect was heard in a song was in "Killer Queen" of the band Queen. The Autotune what it does is level the tones of the human voice.

A good idol group has everyone in a role.. Lily is the cute one. Saki is the tough one. Sakura is the eager rookie. Ai is the seasoned modern performer. Junko is soft spoken old school. Yugiri is elegant old old school with a gift for improvisation. Tae does original performance art dancing and background vocals...she keeps moving to keep up the audience's attention and eye contact up on stage.

It would look a bit out of place if she didn't have a mic or instrument on the stage. In that case, many in the audience would be asking: What the hell is she doing there? Just look at the first gig they had as Franchouchou in the guerrilla performance and people saying “Why is she dancing with the mouth full of squird?”.

I was already laughing my ass off at the fact that getting struck by lightning caused them to glow and sing autotune. Then they shoot the lasers in time with the chorus and I had to pause cuz I was laughing so hard. Past me never could've predicted he'd one day think an idol concert in a show was hype.

I remember being confused why CGI was used with some songs and recently heard it’s because songs that don’t hold any emotional meaning did the girls are just them preforming they aren’t expressing so they instead animated songs that meant something to the girls like Lilly’s “to my dearest” is her soothing a soul of someone grieving her it’s beautifully anime’s because they are going the extra mile to put their own emotions in the song while the animators go the extra mile and animate it! This might be wrong buts it’s still neat!
