They requested he lose weight. The man had the flexibility to pull off a superkick, the agility and core strength to do the Banzai Drop without causing harm, and they were worried about his weight. Meanwhile, they kept Big Daddy Botch on and had no problem with HIS f*cking weight. Make it make sense.

@@BulkBrogan. Comparing wrestlers of different eras isn't right and neither is judging them by quality of performance. Yokozuna wasnt ever in WWF because of quality of matches. Yokozuna and Rikishi are not comparable.

He was big but he was in condition too. Some of the stuff he did was incredible for a guy his size and I've never heard anyone complain about working in the ring with him.

Yeah I have heard stories that he was so heavy yokozuna I'm talking about that he had to be weighed on a cattle scale. Hulk Hogan said his weight fluctuated anywhere between 550 and he has seen it as high at 650 lb that is not healthy for anyone.

Body fat distribution looms aesthetic on some people I think. It looks horrible on me but I thought it looked good on Rikishi. He’s got excess body weight but it’s distributed pleasingly, Yokozuna just looked ill.

He was really great the way he is. Not a lot of people can do what he does at that weight. He's also a very safe wrestler and has one of the best Pile drivers in the business. He's very careful with his Rikishi driver.

From Rikishi’s shoot interview, it seems like Johnny Ace always had an issue with him. Him getting released made absolute no sense at all. According to Paul London, him getting release made Bob Holly more paranoid. Cause he though Rikishi was untouchable
