Horner has long maintained that Red Bull has no favourite driver, and that he champions both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for the Big Win. However, radio messages at the Baku GP, suggest otherwise. And from the looks of it, there is set to be a turbulent storm ahead this season. Especially because what seems to be okay for Max, doesn’t seem to be okay for Checo and fans are furious! One wrote “respect your f***ing driver Christian Horner????”

Redbull has always been run as a one-driver team, the second driver is only there to block and protect. If the drivers remain close towards the end of the season look for some interesting tactical choices being made.

Checo is the first and only driver to challenge the status quo of “RB’s #1 driver” Ricciardo in the past, but Gasly and Albon recently have spoken about this special treatment towards Max, and how the car is 100% made for him… I will go further and point out Vettel had the same treatment… and perhaps his humanity made him loose all interest in the sport once the German knew about this. Similar to Mercedes huge budget giving them reign over the sport… and once the budget limits were applied their dominance was gone for good: how much of Lewis was that, and only that? As for checo, he had to lear how to drive using Max skills… win using a different way, to drive like someone else… even if 2023 RB is better for him it is still made for Max. This makes Checo a driver above the rest imo…

Let me consult my crystal ball. I predict checo will get bad strategies and pit stops and car issues just like Webber did alongside vettel. Despite what Horner says it’s the same scenario being repeated with his weak leadership the main driver is running the show and he will back him to the detriment of the other driver

No car issues, but otherwise - bingo! Inferior strategy and lack of communication from his pit lane - perez was a well engineered sitting duck.

Yes Perez was lucky, if not for the lucky break Perez would not have won. Look what happened in Miami, from 9th to a win for Max, Perez is good but Max is 100 times better.

I wonder if the Red bull tired has two goes well if it would be better to throw Daniel ricciardo into that that can see because Daniel is hungry to do well but I think he's in a position where he would gladly play second fiddle to Max now. He wasn't did not petition before but he's also experienced at driving cars that were built for Max he's done in the past. I think of Ricardo does well at the tire test given the way Sergio has been acting Red bull might be better off to get rid of him if just because they are not accommodating him it might be better for both Sergio and the team. I really do think that we're going to see a very angry Sergio if he notices the strategies are leaning heavily towards Max winning again instead of him he's already gotten mad about it before and it's already noticeable red bull need someone that can be a good support to max someone that can run with the front of the park but we'll know that they're going to be second-best to Max that's what they need. Plus consistency consistency is something that Max has absolutely mastered in that car but the cars will always be built to max I really think if Sergio wants to win a title he needs to be with a different team as another teams lead driver. I really also believe that Sergio will have everyone in his ear telling him to leave Red bull because of the unfair treatment. In reality it should have always been known to Sergio that he was going to be phone number to driver not a number one at redbull.

I hope they don't sabotage Checo to make Max feel better. If max was a true champ, he would just win and shut up. Stuff happens during a race that you cannot control. Does he have to win every race to not have a hissy fit? Checo confidence will be max downfall. If they are equal on points then Checo should crash him out. We know that red bull is full of bull lol.

when watching any of the races you will always see Christian Horner and markco always in max part of the garage when the camera looks in the redbull is at least 1.2 seconds faster than any one else but they try to slow the cars down not to look than way because the FIA will slow them down checo only there look like he's a Challenger because all the other teams are too slow if they don't make it look good people will get bored and switch off at least before you had a real two car challenge with Weber and Vettel and Rosberg and Hamilton but good luck for trying checo you have to still believe it fair ....yes right 😢
