The health care industry is the largest cause of death and suffering. The fact that mainstream medical schools do not teach (nor understand) fundamental nutrition is an extreme act of negligence. The science and medical fraud promoted by Harvard University in the 50's concerning fat and sugar has contributed to the death and suffering of countless millions of humans. In my industry of electronics, machines and computers obsoleted many of my job functions since the 1970's. Many of those jobs were boring and tedious. Good riddance!! It is far more important that Eric Topol and Mark Hyman be able to continue their valuable work as health promoters. Almost every doctor in my life has harmed me in some way for 76+ years. Avoiding doctors is part of my healthcare.

If only we could reverse the business model in healthcare so doctors get paid more for prevention than intervention, and more for competence than incompetence. Fortunately I think AI+robots will help greatly with that.

I am absolutely thrilled about this exciting news! It's truly wonderful and much needed in today's society. Dr. Hyman, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible contributions you make to our community. The value you bring in every piece of information and each podcast you share is truly brilliant. Unfortunately, I find myself with limited time in my life to fully immerse myself in learning from you, but I am genuinely amazed by your work. Thank you!

In the food are additives that are not meant to be there. They are not “ingredients”, they’re chemicals….. Is that a source of the cancer causing issues? Personally, I think so….

We have allowed the food processors to poison our foods by adding all the chemicals, additives, etc. processed into our foods. Why do they still allow some sweeteners, for example, that are Iike poison for one’s system. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Our soft drinks, syrup, the list goes on and on. Urge us to read the labels to track down what’s added to our foods and tell us what to look for. Where is the health system that allows this to continue?

And now they aren't going to put many poisonous things on the label... because someone has now decided they are safe .... though not changed or made worse than when were considered poisonous!!

We have not allowed, the bought & paid, FDA/Dept of Health aka our controlled & placed Government allows these poisons!

When I bring this up to some friends they fight me saying they enjoy these "foods" and would be angry if they were ever not available. So it's a reciprocal arrangement not just food processors shoving it down our throats. When enough people come to realize that real food is more enjoyable things will change. Until then everyone is happy with the status quo.
@MultiParallelGirl

@@judyfreeman5193 real food is light years more enjoyable once you’re off junk for even a week or less. At least for me. They have hijacked our taste buds, gut micro biome, and brains to be addicted to junk at a very very young age. To the point where people think real food is boring and bland! I feel like a lot of people feel like it would be a chore to eat real food instead of convenience “food”. I think a lot of people also don’t see the importance of healthy food if they’re not trying to lose weight. And I think it’s so irresponsible and evil to market this junk to kids, getting them hooked early, and perpetuating to the kids and parents that vegetables in particular aren’t tasty. Commercials literally perpetuate this idea to kids that real fruits and veggies are gross and boring, that what they need and want is candy and chips and soda and whatever other weird concoctions. NONE OF THIS SHOULD BE THE NORM!!!

Dr. Hyman. I’ve been listening to you for a long time I always enjoy learning from you. Today you mentioned that you were a doctor in Orofino Idaho and that’s pretty cool. That is a small town. My husband is from that area and we spend a lot of time there. It’s so beautiful.

AI is only as good as the input. Will AI innovate from the status quo, or just automate the existing healthcare flow?

😅 My brother was in on early development of computers, as a young man. He said back then, there was a saying in the engineering community " garbage in, garbage out." Which basically meant, if you weren't careful with how you structured a computer's basic programming, you wouldn't get useful analysis out of it. Which was a way of saying the programmer screwed up! Back then he worked quality control, and suffered frequent nightmares about defective product. 😢

This is a misunderstanding of the power of AI... Programming used to be input=output. AI can make predictions or generate responses based on probabilities learned from data. This means it can adapt to new information or patterns without being explicitly programmed to handle such cases. This power, coupled with quantum computing, means a future of breakthroughs and discoveries never before imagined

I am going to return to all my specialists next year to show them an example of my success, and I am only halfway. You should see my chart and I can't wait to prove to them that it works with whole foods. Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and avoided a 2nd hip replacement. Multiple abdominal surgeries. Heavy pain meds, BP meds. Off all except 2 prn meds! Retired Oncology Nurse and I have seen it all. Almost 50 lbs lighter, and my health is changing before my eyes. I have been enrolled in cancer research since 2012 and have been invited to a Gut study for inflammation ?

I have to question the idea that the profession is stuck in "old ways". It operates according to new ways. The majority of the profit of Big Pharma is invested in cutting edge marketing to keep the world in ignorance.

I agree that doctors and nurses are slaves to their keyboard and not interacting with the patient! It’s disconcerting that the healing of human compassion is being scrubbed away. Kaiser has 10 min appts. I tried to schedule two and pay my copay for both but the system cancelled both 😢 Absurd. If I’m paying with should they care?!? PCP have become concierges so that we get funneled to more expensive “specialists”, also for timed appts. The focus is on $ rather than discovery & research.

Imaging tests are not physiological information. They see the changes of anatomical structures. They are not diagnostic of cellular mitochondrial dysfunctions. Biomarkers are bits and pieces of a complex system, they are not based on systems information analysis.

Answer to mankind’s health issues (and all problems) See Isaiah 33:24 God (Psalm 83:18 in most translations) will provide help in the near future - Daniel 2:44. Also see Psalm 37:29. In the meantime we can only pray for the right diagnosis and treatment.

OK this sounds hopeful BUT I will believe it when I see it. I am a retired PT and i remember the time when computer was going to solve all our problems. In my field it just created alot more work. So , again I 'll believe it when i see it ...wait,, i bet with all that AI help managers will just pile on more patients. So forget any patient doctor bonding.. One more thing...with big pharma making big contributions to medical schools don't expect docs to get any nutritional training...
