resident umpire here to critique: 0:00 wrong decision thats a dangerous tackle head hit the ground should've been called 0:05 correct decision an elbow is prohibited contact, correct decision made. that wasn't like a soft tap that barely makes contact he makes contact albeit softer than a full fledged elbow. 0:23 wrong decision, high contact should've been called as tom mcdonald did not contribute to the high contact. the tackle also almost breaks his skull in 0:34 yeah we all know this is the wrong decision 1:07 neither correct nor incorrect. thats just ARC for you, yes there is insufficient evidence to overturn the decision. this is really the opposite of the richmond vs brisbane elimination final. the decision was overturned in that game with "sufficient" evidence despite there not being... well sufficient evidence. the decision was made based on the probability of it hitting the post. this caused outrage, and now the opposite has occurred and it's caused outrage. damned if you do damned if you dont. AFL should invest in a better ARC system 1:49 correct decision made come on, he hits nick daicos in the neck, and the umpire has a way better angle than us and clearly sees it.

@@notstephenhawking2305 Arm chop is only considered if it is a marking contest. Marchbank clearly went for a swinging punch, therefore no marking infringement can be considered.

Through trigonometry it is 100% confirmed that the Brisbane v Richmond elimination final decision was correct and it was a behind. If you have three distinct angles like there was showing the ball over the post it is IMPOSSIBLE for the ball to not be over the post.

At 0:05, I'm sorry but the contact there wasn't that bad. The wrong decision was made there, there was some ill-discipline there, but Luke Ryan played for it.

@@TigerTime3672 Contact was hard enough to be considered a strike, and it was obviously an intentional elbow. Correct decision, if you substitute that elbow for a punch same thing occurs, regardless of whether Luke Ryan played for it (which in my opinion he did.)

"SHOCKING UMPIRE DECISIONS" - shows almost entirely correct decisions :/ Kinda sums up people's attitudes towards the game and towards officials in general

@@timothyhill6879 yeah honestly these weren't that shocking, either they were correct or a little wrong, people just try desperately to talk trash about people they don't like
