I still can't believe that my seniors Mike Trout and Shohei Otani faced each other at the end. At that moment, I got goosebumps and was deeply moved. I would also like to thank Mike Trout for creating Team USA by actively recruiting top MLB players to join us. I think he's a really great player. Also, this year, together with Ohtani, we are supporting the Angels led by Mike Trout.

Yes, the baseball world won. Ohtani is a phenomenon to enjoy and revive the baseball world in US and internationally. He transcends the sport, an athlete for the ages. Team Japan played baseball with excellence in every phase of the game.

I know Ben Verlander is feeling bitter sweet right now because his USA Team lost. But the Team of his favorite player in Ohtani, Team Japan, won. But in the end of the day, I think BASEBALL WON!!!! I want Otani to contract by all means in Angels for another five years. Well, it was obviously Angels that completed it in acknowledgment of dual wielding of Otani and refused other baseball teams substantially. I think that Otani who changed the baseball world becomes a further great player simply because it is Angels which received it.

The WBC would be best served. Baseball as a business, would best be served playing this tournament a week after the Super Bowl. Will own the airwaves. And yea, players will be able to perform. Easy to ramp up for this. They already have to maintain elite fitness just to be able to hang in the MLB. And yea we need to have our best arms. Burnes, Dejong, Helsley, Hader, Strider, etc. etc.
