Same here. I stopped following MLB for many years until last year when I heard of a Japanese kid who hits and pitches for his team. I was amazed at how skilled and talented Shohei is, so I found myself searching for his highlights everyday. It was unfortunate he got injured last year and had to end his season early. I don't know if we'll ever see him pitch in the majors again, but I still definitely enjoy watching his hitting highlights.

If he played every single game this year at Yankee Stadium, which not even the Yankees do, he would have 24. You can make the argument that he'd pull the ball more, but there is a big gap offensively right now between Judge and everyone else.

It probably went like 410ft and still not a HR. But then you have the green monster where you can hit 500ft but if it doesn't have the right angle it pretty well be an outfield groundball haha.

不調時は外角の球を強引に引っかけてセカンドゴロ連発するとか、とにかく打球が上がらない。今日の試合のスタッツだけ見れば5-1だけど、凡退した打席は打球も上がっていたし、最後の打席でちゃんと結果を出したので良かった。明日の試合が楽しみです。

As a casual. Did not know all stadiums are not the same length from the field to the end fence. How does that not screw up stats? Imagine basketball courts having different size rims.
