Zach grenkie had a passable bat as well. Bartolo Colon was also going yard. Maybe the first pitcher to have a solid contact game, but pitchers who had the power to go yard have been around for quite some time.

This guy is a once in a generation talent. 1- finesse pitcher who throws over 100 without intimidating the hitter. 2- while hitting, he possesses insane amounts of power and speed 3- clutch hitter and good clubhouse guy who's play, statistically, improves his teams chances of winning.

Went to one of the two games last year between the Dodgers and Angels at angel stadium. Ohtani dropped a 💣 to give the Angels the lead and eventually the win. Very exciting player.

It’s obvious that some of Korean athletes don’t have sportsmanship. You could probably find tons of their bad behaviors on KZfaq

The crazy thing is he’s lights out on the mound. Pitchers are usually better after TJ surgery. So he could be better on the bump when he’s cleared to pitch. Truly amazing

It would get old quick. Imagine having to be at every meeting, every practice, be away from your family, etc. and you don't even get the type of money and perks that comes with actually playing. Maybe I'm just different, because I don't idolize anyone.

Since my main man Ichiro Suzuki retired, Ohtani is top of my list of favorite players. Up there with Bryce Harper and Nolan Arenado. Such an incredible talent. I wish the Cards could grab him, lol.

Today, April 4, 2021, Shohei has made more history as he batted second in the lineup, hasn’t happened in a long time, and drives first pitch to center for a 451ft 115mph bomb. Then on the bump, he throws a 100 mph fastball. HOF’er right here
