As a poet I look up to many south african poets such as Nhlanhla Mhlongo, Imbongi, Zamoh Cofi, Mncedy Umqingo, Siyabonga Mpungose and a lot more. My fav poem at the moment being Ijele by Nhlanhla Mhlongo. Nhlanhla Mhlongo performed the poem at one day leader and I must say, it was powerful just like most of his poems such as uyakhuluma omdala, xenophobia, akazenzanga. My favs by Mncedy umqingo are abantu batfwele kanzima langaphandle, icala lami-umncedy umqingo, wazini ngothando and basize nogada.
