Depends on what exactly you want to improve. Generally, play songs that are out of your comfort zone, even if it means failing! Play fast songs you can barely keep up with to improve stamina. You will fumble around a lot when learning new patterns, don't get discouraged, it's part of the learning process, keep going!

I'm not sure if this is on the switch version as well, but if there is a "Training" or Practice mode, use that mode if you're trying to clear/fc a specific song, or for general very fast songs to learn patterns. As you progress to 10* in the game, you will find many same triplet/quintuplet patterns in many other songs, just at different tempos. But overall, just play more and for references like if you generally play like 6* normals then i'd divide the star amount by half and play the next difficult level (so 3* hard in this example) and see how you do for playing a little out of comfort zone. I asked my friend to do this for a while and he improved a lot more after splitting the stars to the next level. Hopefully this helps, and you can become a taiko master😹

btw i’ve tried switching between the bachi sticks and my own drum sticks, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, some advice please?

The rubber mods are mainly to improve sensitivity, but they might require a lot of trial and error / reopening. The cork is the best and easiest mod, definitely do that. On my tatacon the only mod is the foam replacement, instead of using cork, I cut out a piece of wood that fits in perfectly. There's no signs of damage and I'm confident it'll last.

In response to the bachi issue.. There's no right or wrong answer, since a lot of people seem to manage with using different drumsticks without issues. Generally though, I would recommend using the included bachi, as they have a larger point of contact when you hit. Thinner maibachi may miss the contacts on the sensor.
