Shook!: Meet Jaafar Jackson Who Sounds Just Like His Late Uncle Michael Jackson!

My small commentary on Jaafar Jackson who sounds very similar to his late Uncle Michael Jackson. He and his brother Jermajesty along with their father Jermaine Jackson, made their debut performance in the Netherlands at MAX Proms in Dec. 2017.
This exclusive performance marks the stage debut for Jaafar and Jermajesty and is special because it's the first time Jermaine and his sons performed together and because Jermaine sings "The Christmas Song" again which he recorded for The Jacksons 5 "Christmas Album" in July of 1970 at the age of 15. Jafaar’s vocal timbre is very similar to his Uncle Michael’s. Jafaar has a couple of videos on KZfaq singing in a lower register which seems to be where he may be most naturally comfortable. The range of talent in the Jackson family is remarkable. Thank you for posting. 🙂

Jermajesty may not be about that life but Jafaar seems like he has potential. A few second generation Jacksons have gotten false starts in the industry but it would be nice to see one launch a career with longevity. The music industry could use some Jackson-style rejuvenation.

Excellent video Nicole, you are correct Jaafar sounds just like Michael if you close your eyes and pretend it's Michael singing. I wasn't aware that Jermaine was still touring. The Jacksons /Jackson 5 are still one of my favorite R&B families.

What I like about European audience it doesn't matter if your older or don't have hits they still appreciate your talent unlike the USA. But what's funny to me is every Jackson that comes on the scene sounds like or look like Michael Jackson none of them are looked at for their own work to this day I still see people compare Janet to her brother

anthony barlow Exactly about the European audiences! Unfortunately MJ was a monster musician/entertainer and if you're related to him it's bound to happen. However, Janet still made her own lane and if Jaafar has the right management and people behind him he can have a successful musical career too and create his own path as well.
