Shooting a PRS match for the first time!

Rusty has been involved in the Precision Rifle Series Australia since its first match back in 2017 but has never shot a match!
That all changed at the 2022 Nightforce Heatstroke Open Precision Rifle Series Australia match in Darwin!
This was not the only first for the weekend though.
For his contributions to the sport, Rusty was gifted the 6GT Gay Tiger back in 2019.
This rifle had never had a round fired until 1 week before this match. A quick afternoon of load development and we flew out to Darwin to take part in the match.
This is how it went!

I know it can be intimidating! Good job. My only gripe was.......RUN THAT BOLT!! looked to timid, like you didn't want to fully cycle the bolt lol

As a fellow Gay Tiger shooter I can appreciate what you have committed too with your rifle. I will say though you might look at your resizing process. That impact should be much smoother on bolt close and not need so much force.

The white turret gets used most of the time. Big fan of the scope. Still got an XTR III on my rimfire

How did the Burris Pro work out for you?

Like it a lot. Still need to get back to using Tremor reticles, but the scope is solid.

That's great to hear. Just ordered the Pro with the SCR2 reticle. You're videos are very informative. The beginning of this one was funny as hell. Keep up the good work.

Great vid, hope this takes off more in Australia. I'm based in Vic and just looking to get into the PRS stuff, looks like a blast. Awesome paint scheme... unfortunately I am one of those "got and blacker?" type guys but sick to see others rocking their own individuality. Do I detect a bit of queer fear in a couple of comments? if so, grow up kids.. no one on the internet cares about your insecurities.
