Choose 4k video quality, choose paying 6 euros for a sandwich, choose kicking everyone out of cities for rich yuppies, choose a wife that cheats on you with a pretentious unemployed, choose interactive porn, choose funny monkey pictures that cost 300 k, choose being in a breakout room in the morning, choose fighting against corona rules, choose rich girls who do XTC with funny sunglasses and cowboy hats.

Thanks for your thoughtful analysis. One takeaway I get from this amazing movie is that whatever system of rewards you get plugged into, whether it’s heroin or professional ambitions, it’s very hard to get free from it. If you can trap people on the hedonic treadmill, they will sell themselves out to it and become dull, self-centered drones.
