His is slightly different. You might be able to request a more "frost" finish if you do not want it as shiny as mine. Sometimes they are able to accommodate that.

So you are saying you use a compound but with no sights and finger release?

It depends on what you see or call traditional. For some only a horsebow with wooden or bamboo arrows may be traditional, for some only an english longbow with wooden arrows and so on. I don't see a problem with shooting a recurve with carbon arrows, most of the archers are shooting this way. I find this way more traditional than shooting a compound.

@@MarshallStrider Right. Wood bow ,sinew string , and wood handmade arrows are traditional. I’m just bagging on “trad guys” , I belong to a large archery club and the “trad”guys look down their nose’s at compound shooters. The VP writes articles on “ men in green tights “ literally. Hollywood archery- I just have fun and shoot groups 50 to 100 yards every time I show up. The too bad so trad guys can barely comprehend 40 yards. Seriously. If I was stuck at the 20 yard line my whole life... well that’s not enough to keep me motivated. I figure stick bow shooters are just cheap. The bows are getting faster and more accurate. Why wouldn’t you want one or two or three....? Last club meeting some stick bow cheapie had “ dark side “ tee shirt. If they’re going to be a DUCK 🦆 and dish it out... I hope they can take it.
