Stanley Yu Typically a goalie would just jumping up and get as wide as they can but I found it best to stay a position where you can hold. Then get your arms up out of the water and try to stay on the shooter near side and try to follow they ball as it comes in. Don't throw your arms straight up but of bent. Plus you can try to stay close to the shooter so he doesn't have a great angle< >. (Coming from center's point of view you will be much more intimidating because you don't sink in the water) Don't be afraid to ask your coach as well because in only in 14U.
