@@Urbad- on his second shot the audio is there but no hole is punched, then later when they're tallying the points they count three shots where only the 3rd & 5th shots went through. He counted one as being on the line when it was just the paper tore because of how close the 3rd & 5th were to each other. 🤓

5:37 Brian barely budges, makes the M95 look like a peashooter----would be interesting to see them give the Fat Mac (.950 JDJ) that Kentucky Ballistics just got a try. The .950 JDJ is the most powerful center fire rifle in both terms of both downrange power and recoil in the world, I don't think there's even footage on YT of someone trying to fire it from a standing position. The Fat Mac is also extremely rare as SSK only manufactured three .950 JDJ rifles. For comparison: .950 JDJ is capible of ~40,000 ft * lbf of energy downrange which is almost 4 times stronger than .50 BMG Scott has the lighter model of the .950, so even more recoil, somewhere between 300 and 400 foot-pounds of free recoil energy. .50 BMG free recoil energy is around 70-80 ft lbs. [I'm not sure of the threshold where free recoil energy starts to become risky from a shoulder fire position, I could not find any publications or papers on this area of 'firearm science'].

It looks like Kentucky loads his 950 jdj to about 30,000 - 32,000 ft lbs. Realistically, there is a recoil limit where it can be dangerous, and I think he keeps the free recoil force around 200-250 ft lbs for the 4 bore and 950. Even his 4 bore loads are downloaded slightly.

I’ve shot a 500 Magnum before and to see these guys do it and make the recoil look like a 38 Special is mind bending. The barrel barely moves when they shoot it. For most people, the barrel twists straight up like a snake. The most powerful handgun met its match against these men.
