That Tamron disregards that shutter speed con….I can shoot handheld 1/50th comfortably with that VC. The VC on that 70-200 is unreal

Thanks for the video. Nice to see someone on the Asbury Park boardwalk. If you’re going to shoot portraits and don’t want to be so far away shooting at 200mm, why not use a shorter focal length, move closer to your subject, and shoot wide open if it’s background blur you’re after? There’s always a tradeoff involved (sadly).

I just picked up the Tamron 70-180 f2.8 (over the larger 70-200 GMaster) for the Sony a7iv. Great lightweight lens in this range. This completes a zoom trio for me as a hobby photographer.

Ummm faster shutter speeds? That lens has the best VR of any lens I’ve ever used

I love my new G2 for portraits! It did amazing at some portraits at a pier.

Thanks for this video! I had been using a Tamron 24-70mm zoom lens, but came across a Nikon DX 55-200mm zoom lens at a reasonable price: It's going on a Nikon FF camera, so that gives e a perspective of 85-300mm lens! Your information is VERY helpful,. Again, thanks,,

I agree that @ 200mm your far away from a subject for good communication, but the "feeling comfortable" part. Some people feel more comfortable when someone is not so close to them taking pictures (non professional models) so that is a pro & con not just a con IMO. If communication from afar is needed could use a radio lol (actually done it)

no i won't use one of these. it is too heavy that i can only take this one lens, which means I can't take my 24-70 and 85 with me , i can't afford not to take 24-70 and 85
