Square format is the GOAT in my opinion! I really love the square aspect ratio! It feels so much different than all the other ones. And you can always crop it to be like a 645 negative or 4x5 which I do quite a bit!

For real?! That’s interesting. I’ve always leaned into the more cinematic aspect ratios for some reason. Nick Carver’s 6x17 shots go so hard IMO. But 6x6 is a challenge I will gladly accept - I feel I’m getting too comfortable lately.

What an absolutely beautiful video with another top photographer. You really got some bangers. I was reflecting on using different gear- I usually use a 27mm, but I tried a 56mm recently. It wasn't just a different lens, but a completely different way of looking at the world. Great video, I'm so pleased the TLR has inspired new creativity!

I like your 6x6 shots! Give it some more time. Rolleiflexes are great cameras, somehow way more ergonomic for me than the hasselblad I own.

I have a yashica mat 124 G and a Bronica SQA I do love square but the Yashica is a joy to use and people always stop and ask you about it

@@thefilmdaddy try one for street photography people are curious if I take a digital camera out they can be aggressive the TLR gets lots of positive feedback the older generation want to talk to you about it and that they had one I love it

500 c/m is not centimeters. 500: max shutter speed C: Compur shutter M: Modified (you can switch out the focusing screens)
