After years of wanting one, I finally ordered one and it has just arrived. I have 2 hours left in work before I can assemble it, they will be longest 2 hours of my life! Big shout out to Multitool products in the UK, Jon has been amazing in helping me order and answering the 4000 questions I asked him, his service is top notch!

I really want one of your belt grinders but I have no idea and I’m really stuck between your 2x48 ShopMate (the one that Alec Steele uses) and your ShopMate 2x72 belt grinder. I’m into making knives so please give me some advise as to which I should purchase. Thanks.

Hi Paul, Gameco have an outlet and Preston however i do not think they have any display stock. Best bet would be to get in touch with Rob, Cole or Dave at Gameco NSW. I think they are back at work on Monday.

Am interested in one of these, would like some advice on what motor to go with it.cheers!
@84engineering5 жыл бұрын
Hi Shelley, the motor required needs to be a 2 pole, 90 size frame with a 24mm shaft. The grinder accepts a c face motor directly or a standard foot mount motor can be used if the grinder is mounted to a bench. Gameco Artisan Supplies have the correct motors in stock as well as the grinders.

Going to get one with the VFD and 2HP motor. If I choose pre wired that means I wont have to do any of the wiring of the cables right?
@84engineering5 жыл бұрын
That is correct, the VFD and motor will come fully wired and programmed if you choose the pre wired option.

$ 2,200.00 is more than I’ve got to spend on a grinder but it’s probably worth every penny.

Not too often you hear someone say the metric system is ridiculous.. lol. Please pass me a 11/73rds spanner then.

I would not buy this grinder because it does not turn horizontal rubbish.
@84engineering Жыл бұрын
Both our 48" and 72" belt grinders tilt horizontally using either the bench stand or floor stand accessory. We were one of the first belt grinders available to offer the horizontal tilt mechanism! Check out the link if you want to find out more :) 84engineering.com.au/collections/stands
