The bosun’s whistle meaning here. The Boatswain's call was predominantly used to issue orders during times when voices could not be heard over the rumbling sea. Early on, the pipe was a symbol of rank, perhaps due to the fact that these were worn by high-ranking officers to signal orders to the crew. It’s also the whistle they used in Star Trek

The bosun’s whistle is a sailor’s whistle. Bosun ( sometimes written boatswain) was the name of a ship member.

Went to this shop when I was in Edinburgh, a few years ago. There is so much to see! The street it’s on is lots of fun. Shout out to Rodney, love his channel.
