Class D amplifier. In front of the capacitors at the dc input side of the amplifier are 2 inductors driven by the two fets above them and used for generating the dc rail voltage. The other side of the amplifier is the capasitors and inductor of the low pass filter.

with that ferrite having 3 holes in it . why not line up the holes , drill hole in the top plate and tap it, drill hole in tyoke and bolt them together with some Loctite . quick easy and simple fix to keep motors from shifting ....

500w Amp on a 1000w sub? I tell people the exact opposite. People are just going max out the amp and blow it, instead of the sub. And if they upgrade subs (most do) they wont have to buy a new amp. Also when amps are pushed hard they send out dirty power and high distortion. Always at least double sub rating for amp if you can afford it. Just set your gains with meter/clamp.....Or what I prefer is to smash em until they stink or get hot to touch, then back the gain down. The problem with setting gains is that a lot of companies either over or under rate their subs.

I have looked high and low for a 8" box that would fit a big 8 they way i wanted and i couldnt find one so I ened up getting a CT 8" pre fab and wow that was a TIGHT fit for that big ass magnet, i havnt hooked it up yet but hoping it sounds good, my intentions are to remove my OOOOLD 2 12 kicker compvrs so i can have my back seat back 😅.
