I agree with you whole heartedly on the eyes. Everybody and I mean every single person that I know that has had lasik surgery had to go back to wearing glasses within a year and they all said the same thing "I wanted to be able to see clearly when I woke up and opened up my eyes" well I can do that with contact lenses so I'm good. I feel just like you do I don't want that mess.

I loved this video! I really like the cooking segment. The ham balls look really good. I have never seen or heard of ground ham. What was the foundation and blush you used in the beginning when you were getting ready? Your TJ Maxx stores have so much good stuff!

Leah! I’ve had lasik and I couldn’t recommend it more to anybody! The process is completely painless, I promise! It looks scarier than it actually is. My whole appointment from arrival to leaving, I was in and out in less than 30 mins. The “surgery” itself was literally 10 mins, if that. The worst part of the whole thing was the eye drops afterwards. But really, if your eye sight is really bad, I would really consider it. It’s not terrible at all! If nothing else you can always go in for a consultation to see if your even eligible first. But don’t write it off, I promise it was a cake walk for me. And being able to see clearly now was so worth it.

Thank you for this video! I watched it yesterday afternoon and decided to stopped by TJ Maxx before dinner and I actually found the blush palette! I got the last one, which had been opened but not swatched. Our stores rarely get PMG (I’m still on the lookout for Midnight Sun) or they get them super late so I was super excited to find it! I never would have known to look for it if you hadn’t posted this video. Thanks again!

I was scared of lasik also but it is nothing more than looking at colors. And they even give you relaxers if you want. It really turned into EASY.

Hahaha love the ham balls. We make that too. We get the meat at fareway as well. Never thought about it not being anywhere else. I've never had it with pineapple. We have a sauce that goes over it.

Hi Leah I live in Canada close to the border so I hopped over and went to TJ Maxx and found the same single pat McGrath blush you did and bought it. I also went to Ulta and got a tree hut, scrub, and a colour pop palette. I’m so excited lol and can I say that the American and Canadian border guards are hot lol. I love your channel.🤩💞😉

Lot of amazing fines with Pat McGrath. I went to our TJ Maxx here in Peoria. It had nothing. Ugh. Hopefully going to check Bloomington out here soon. I thought about getting lasix surgery but I too have heard a lot of negative. My cousin in Arkansas had it done and something went wrong. But I agree with you. I prefer my glasses 🤓 you have a wonderful evening and an awesome rest of your week 😊

I just received my makeup forever foundation today. I've seen good reviews on it so far, and being primed is key, it seems. I can't wait to try it out tomorrow. I wish I could find a good drugstore powder foundation. Only the high-end ones seem to work on me

Same in Alabama, most don't know the big brand names or look at TJMAX. They go to our local ulta and buy there.

Just the thought of eye surgery makes me terrified so I am not planning on ever having lasik surgery. I will just continue to wear my contacts. I don't like anything touching my eye either.

We have 3 kitters. One female, Ella Knorr is a food HO! Daisy, our other female is very mellow & a loud hisser at her brother, Olifur. Olifur came from a feral colony as a kitten & he still has wild in him. I love your shop with me/hauls. Our TJMaxx rarely has the quality of items you find. I keep checking, though, & my husband even goes with me once in a while.❤❤❤

Hi Leah!! Love your videos! I was like you about LASIK until my husband gave it to me as a Christmas gift. It really turned out to be nothing. If you find a reputable practice that you feel comfortable with, that will alleviate some of your nerves. I wish I had done mine sooner, it's been 7 years and my vision is still perfect, it was 950/700, so I was pretty bad as well!

Hi, if my mother was still alive, you and her would have gotten along great. She was also into cologne and perfume. Her favorite was Fenti. I have my favorites as well; however, all the new ones that have come out, I wouldn't know. It's not one of the things I'm really interested in, but my favorite is COCO EAU DE PARFUM CHANNEL. I have others like, the original POISON, the one in the green bottle, YSATIS, plus a few more, but because I am unable to buy them for the amount of money that is charged these day, I found quite a few nice ones at TJ MAXX, and those I can wear on a daily basis. Again, with the make up. I don't get why your stores always gets the good stuff :( Once in a blue moon I may find something like I found that Frosted Flakes eye shadow palette. I love that one. The colors and shimmers are amazing. I do wear my special colognes/perfumes on special days though.

You are too funny. Our striped kitten is also a crack addict. I do really like that Clean Reserve Sparkling Sugar. It lasts all day. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day.

Hi Leah! I went to Sephora this past weekend and I felt the same way about the Fenty perfume. It was so strong at first but I kept smelling the dry down on my way home and it was smelling so so good. Only thing it was really faint. So I’m going to go back and over spray it and do a wear test. Cause for $140 GURL! I need some sillage and longevity! 😅 I will also be on the hunt for some of that Pat McGrath.🤞🏾I find some. Thanks for the video!!

Don’t get LASIKs. If you really want the surgery look into PRK. Much better results, long-term. It costs more but worth it. Of course as a disclaimer, talk to your eye doctor to see if it’s a good option for you.

I got a sample of Donna Born in Roma and it smells like OFF mosquito spray. Everyone loves it but NO WAY for me. I have worn a few times and still smells bad SO BUMMED
