Years ago I built a first piece of shop furniture. It was a sad excuse for a mobile planer stand and severely lacked in both the storage and functionality departments. I really needed something better so I set out to design something that would be an upgrade on all accounts. Imagine my surprise when I discovered my new design can be completely built from just two sheets of plywood with very minimal waste. It's the Two Sheet Tool Seat! I decided to go with drawers instead of a cabinet and chose heavy duty lockable casters to make it mobile. This thing has been an amazing upgrade to the shop, has an incredible amount of storage within, and was very affordable to build since it only needed two sheets. Check out the video and see if it could be a fit for your shop too!

I've totally filled up two rolling tool boxes and one is a 65" husky box with upper...yea, I have a LOT of tools (grandfather's, dad's and now my in-laws). the three year long running joke about stealing plywood was super corny when I first started watching these videos but now I can't wait for it! is there a similar joke with the flat head screws? because who in their right mind uses flat head screws? unless you bought stock in them a decade ago and now have to deplete your supply. Maybe that's the joke! Seriously though, there are huge KZfaq names with followers triple tours but your content is seriously the best. The pieces you build are extremely functional and not over complex and they look great. keep it up!

Thank goodness for the neighbor having that walnut cutting board. Otherwise I don't know how those drawers were going to open. Just to spite those that would wonder into your shop, there should be another handle added to the top "stretcher" - Or this may get confusing, and I know I would be grabbing it often, thinking it was a real handle.
