Hi, I created two fields. both fields are showing but I only get results from one field on the cart page. Both fields have unique label name/id

For some reason the "required" parameter does not carry over to mobile web browser version. When I access the product page from my desktop, it throws up the proper error and does not let the user submit without filling in the field. However, when I do the same thing from my mobile, it allows me to add the item to the cart without filling in the field. Any idea how to fix this?? Please help!
