The red tag on the Balenciaga wasn’t a mistake. They put theses red tags on expensive items and if you remove it you can’t return the item. It’s to dissuade people buying designer items and then returning fakes, which is a BIG problem in TJ maxx/TK maxx.

Dang that’s actually pretty smart. I bought an apple laptop charger from a returns store before (forgetting to check it in store) and I pulled it out at home and it was fake! Definitely swapped by somebody. All businesses should do that for everything to be honest

Karl Lagerfield passed away and his line is sold at the Macy's here in SF. The Coach bag was a Coach outlet bag as the emblem is different from the higher end line.

From a TJ Maxx employee, the red tag isn’t a mistake! You’re supposed to remove it at home, can’t be returned if the red tag is removed though! Purple tags= designer items, blue tags= what they want us to feature on displays. also looks like they had a lot of online returns in the store!! the different looking tags with the numbers highlighted means it was an online return 🙂

@@tracydanison4434 to my knowledge, yes. because we essentially get overstock from the companies or in some cases like with certain makeup brands, it can be that the company filed for bankruptcy. My TJ maxx does not have runway stuff. I can’t say I 100% know that it is authentic because I am only a back room coordinator. But, to my knowledge yes because a lot of the stuff come with the company’s tags and the dust bag for the hand bags & the proof of authenticity 😊

LOL girl I work at Marshall’s and watching the video I noticed the online returns too! Although at my store we don’t get blue tags? Never seen them only the purple tags which are mostly used in the mens department But the red tag majority of the time comes on coats I’ve seen ! People come back asking to take it off but we only have a magnet lol 😂

The “compare at” price on the tags aren’t the original price. It’s calculated based on a percentage of what they price the item for. It’s usually either under or over actual costs. That’s why I always look for the MSRP tags on the items.

Glad someone mentioned this! The compare at sometimes are them saying other places would price it at “xxx” but we price it at “xxx”

There’s a Saks Off Fifth upstairs from there too that has a ridiculous selection of designer sunglasses (and bags, clothes, huge shoe selection, too!) for amazing prices! I’ve gotten multiple Celine pairs, YSL, etc. and they’ve always come with the cases. I recommend checking it out if you want a bigger selection of discount designer. It’s also very well organized cuz it’s basically a mini version of a Saks store that is all discounted!

The red plastic things are actually supposed to come home with you! If you take it off you can’t return it, they leave it on there so that if you change your mind you can return it as long as it is still attached.

I worked at tjmaxx for 5 years! The red tag thingy on the designer stuff is on there for the purpose of returns. Once you take it off, you can’t return that piece.

Gurllll, those wet brushes ARE totally everything. I usually buy 2-3 at a time cause I’m so rough with mine. I broke the handle off a new one first week I had it. I also use the small one that’s purse size.

A lot of the Winners(Canada's TJ Maxx) and Marshall's in Calgary have a lot of these designer bags and House of Harlow stuff super cheap and good deals too,it's fun finding stuff like that for pretty great prices

There are TJ Maxx stores around the country that have THE RUNWAY section and those store are stocked with the high end luxury items...side note that the store in Birmingham/Hoover Alabama off 31 near the galleria is a THE RUNWAY store because your a Bama Girl thought I'd share that 😘

We have a TJ Maxx runway section in downtown Houston. All the high end purses are out on a table chained together. Surprised to see bags priced at thousands of dollars covered in makeup, dirt, rips and fingerprints because everyone has handled them.

They also have Rent the Runway on their website. You do have to be careful some things are damaged I can't remember the tag color maybe lavender???? We have a ton of TJ Maxes there is a high end one near my doctor. I live in GA. Most don't have the really high end but still have a good mix of brands.

You can shop the Runway at TJ Maxx online! You should make a trip out to Orange County. We have the Outlets at Orange where they have a Bloomingdale’s Outlet, a Neiman Marcus outlet and a Saks outlet!!! My favorite place to be boujee on a budget! ❤️😍❤️

There area few TJ Maxx Runway stores across the states, this is not just an LA thing, although they may have more clothing and accessories. That red tag is supposed to be there.

You did get some nice deals. Both pants and dress look great on you. I love the sun glasses. I just bought a cool looking pair of Rayban for $250. I don’t think I got a deal at the Casino but I had been eyeing them for a few months and I just had to buy them. I couldn’t find this style anywhere on line. Sun glasses are one of my favorites.

My favorite tjmaxx stores are ones with a Runway unfortunately my nearest ones to me don’t have a runway in them so I have to travel to Miami , thankfully the Sarasota store has more higher end items and I myself have gotten a lot of House of Harlow items lately at Tjmaxx and Marshall’s.
