I teach ESL to adults, and I wish I could say how much I appreciate these! I like to teach situational English, and these are perfect for level 1. We used the shopping for clothes last week. That's how I discovered this channel. I've subscribed! Fantastic for zoom classes as well.

This is an excellent source since you don´t include subtitles (script) so people can really practice (if the video includes the subtitles people tend to read, as a result, they don´t really listen to it, it makes no sense). Thanks.

In Canada we use both systems (metric and imperial). Some people use pounds, some people use kilograms but most people use both. We use the metric system for temperatures (Celsius) and driving (kilometres). What about you?

We want our students to listen first without reading. If you click on the 'interactive lesson' linked under the video, there is a version of the video with each sentence written out and repeated. Hope that helps!

PUAJAJAAKAKJAJAAJA les quiero contar algo que me paso viendo el video xddd Bueno lo estaba viendo por una tarea de Ingles xd y tenia que poner mucha atencion, tons yo no se ingles mas o menos, en el tercer elemento que le da un liquido, yo estaba intentando adivinar que era por ejemplo en el primero: chease: queso le atine sugar: azucar Pero en el tercero JAJAJAJA Entendi me da 3 pollos pequeños? osea me entendi little poullo aun sabiendo que aya se dice chiquen, y vieran la gran decepcion que me dio ver que no era pollo xdddddd se que no da risa pero a mi si me dio xdddd como que dan mucho cringe no? I hope no English teachers would show this to a class of kids!! This video is meant for adult new immigrants who need a slower paced introduction to the language. Having said that, I recognize that we are by no means professional actors. LOL.
