Today I took the metro to Düsseldorf I wanted to go shopping with my mom we went to the Stadtmitte to Go window shopping first, then we went to the Koenigsalle where all the high end stores are but that was definitely not for me we checked out the koe gallery and than we went to the Promenade right next to the Rhine river We also went up all the way to the Rhine tower Where you can overlook all this old off to cologne

Thank you for the video. My Niece lives is Duesseldorf. She grew up in Nebraska, USA but was a German exchange student in high school. Fell in love with Germany and moved there after college.

Such a fantastic idea having deposits on glass bottles. Allows the homeless to earn some money, and the more privileged to donate directly to the needy. Win win. 👍

It's often pensioners who collect the bottles and also cans for Pfand. It's recently been expanded to all disposable containers.

I love New Yorker. Every time I’m in Germany I have to stop there to shop. I love the clothes and you can’t beat the prices. Half my winter clothes are from there.

The malls in Germany are TOP NOTCH! Everything is so clean and OCCUPIED!!! Our stores here (Arkansas, USA) are gross with very few shops. Great content as always!

I adored Düsseldorf in the 70’s and 80’s…..I lived on the Düsseldorfer Allee. Koenigs Strasse, just the best shopping. The Altstadt was fabulous for night life…..Mitzis and the Cream Cheese…..and then onto Vulcan Strasse ….😋…🇬🇧

Vulkanstrasse is in Duisburg. In Duesseldorf I would recommend Rethelstrasse. 💖💖👍👍😉😉

@@davey2363 Well. ...lol indeed . I was a student at the Kunstakademie. I so miss that time 70s/80s Düsseldorf. Very relaxed and interesting ,lots of communication in the Kneipen. , was invited to many spontaneous parties .I felt much more free there than here in Amsterdam. Exciting ..Altstadt. 'Wire' played in Ratinger Hof. Also the chic bars around Kö , where everybody paid your drinks 🤣

I had Wrangler carpenter jeans in high school, I loved those jeans. So cool seeing American stuff in Germany, Los Angeles shirts in Germany 😊even had palm trees to make it like Venice Beach

The three buildings next to the Rhine Tower are known as the Gehry Buildings. Frank Owen Gehry is a Canadian-American architect and designer who has lived in California since 1947.

Loved Dusseldorf, was there in 2013 for Kraftwerk at the K20 Kunstsammlung at the Alt Stadt. With snow on the ground. Very beautiful I love the Alt Bier as well. The architect of the building near the tower is Frank Gehry I believe, I know the shiny metal building is called Gehrys House. Was my first german city (from Ireland) I really like Berlin as well especially the East Side.

I had lived in Duesseldorf for more than 30 years. He only showed shopping and tourist areas of Duesseldorf. In General you can hardly find the tables outside cafes or restaurants in Germany!!

Absolutely fantastic channel... it's crazy that you have to go to Germany to buy merchandise with Los Angeles on it. Crazy it does look like the stratosphere. It's crazy how the wealthy don't care about parking tickets in any big city.

Hi Mike. I’m so glad I found your channel. Enjoy the videos with your Mom. I lost my mother this year in 2022. She was 95 years old i miss her. Spend as much time with Mom as you can. Time slips away. I’ve always wanted to visit Germany. Looks so nice and clean. You got a great personality for KZfaq video’s. Love watching all the cool merch from cal in Düsseldorf. Hugo Boss and Michael Kors have outlets in the US and online and at reasonable prices when on sale. These stores are actually more expensive in Europe. Stores such as, TJMaxx, Marshall's etc carry these brands. I am sure your beautiful mom would like to go on a shopping spree. Maybe, when she comes to visit, you can take her shopping! She dresses very nice and i love her red nails. Classy, beautiful and sweet mom! She deserves the world!
