My brother had a device that allowed you to do special "tricks" on Nintendo DS games. One day he was in a particularly good mood and used it to give me the highest possible amount of money on Nintendogs. I had to ask my mum money to buy an ice cream in real life but I was a f*cking billionaire on Nintendogs! I remember the first thing I did was buying the Beach House. Good old days!

I remember me and my brothers tried our best to speed run the game, get everything and the max amount of dogs too and money, took us months but it became a deadly competition, essentially what happened that turned deadly also became the ending, while on our way to a hockey tournament in a small town called Dryden I had forgotten my DS at home and my brothers brought there’s, I feel asleep on the car ride up but at one point I woke up to my brothers arguing and one of them grabbed the others DS and chucked it out the window (we had no idea how much these were, us three got them for Christmas) and it was gone, never to be seen again. My parents didn’t know until we arrived at our hotel and they were taking my brothers DS away from him, they came up to me and asked for mine but I lied saying he also threw mine out the window, when we got home and found my DS and always hid to play it. I got everything in the game, all the house, supplies and max dogs and was close to becoming a billionaire like a year later and I walked into my brothers room when I did and called him a b***h and walked back to my room flexing that I had won.

I remember my first Nintendog. Marina, the Shiba Inu. Undefeated queen of Frisbee , and a trick master. She knew 'em all- Beg, roll over, shake, headstand, all of 'em. She wasn't just a good girl... She was the best girl! Rest in peace you absolute legend!

I had a golden retriever as my first pet, mastered him and his name was Hunter. He was an absolute legend, lost my DS in a hotel after a hockey tournament, never been the same since then.

My sister's first dog was called Timanti, which is a typo of Timantti (meaning Diamond). I accidentally donated Timanti to the dog hotel because I couldn't understand english. I tried to buy a dog that looked the same but it was male and had longer fur, and I typed the dog's name correctly. I eventually got caught.

I wish it was possible to transfer Nintendog's Pets into Nintendogs+Cats, and that the Nintendo Switch had the WiiU Gamepad's Gimmicks so that way another Nintendogs sequel could fit in well for the Nintendo Switch, so that way I wouldn't have the bad habit of abandoning my poor cute little puppies inside those old DS Cartridges that I barely ever use nowadays... 😭💔

Reminder that you forgot to take care of the Nintendogs for a decade and the extra dogs in the hotel haven’t seen you for longer than that. Also your voice would have changed so much from the last time your dogs saw you that they won’t recognize your voice commands anymore.
