I just binged 6 episodes episodes of Shoresy, what a fantastic hysterical show. Jared Keeso has struck gold again.

As Nolan said: Shoresy just captures what Canada is (and should be). It's a really good representation of the diverse parts of Canada, getting together for the one sport (and sense of community) that unites us all. Keeso is doing more for Canadian unity than Heritage Canada has ever done.

I love Letterkenny and I was worried about being disappointed by Shorsey and now I weigh back & forth which I like more. Both are amazing, Kesso is so damn talented but the supporting cast ON BOTH SHOWS is just absolute top notch. So many great characters played by AMAZING actors. I relate to LK because I was born in the middle of rural Florida in the ‘80s. I get the small town thing but I didn’t even know what hockey was a think until the mid ‘90s when the TB Lightning came around. I did go to a few games but it was a work/social thing.

there was this reff in the GTHL a while back that was just amazing, would verbally call every offside and icing, he was like each teams 6th man on the ice. I often think about him and hope he knows how great he made those games over the others, as a big guy (Big 28 iykyk) he would always call me fair, no bs big man peneltys, would tell me what he expected, what I did right and wrong, he would throw joking cherps here and there... solid guy, wish I remembered his name. hope hes doing great.

Teddy being from mount pearl cracks me up. I live there too, but Terry Ryan (teddy) is from mount pearl and still lives here. He's a beauty and an excellent guy. His dad is hilarious.

Shoresy is the best sport show made since Friday Night Lights. It got me to go listen to all of JoDolo's jams too because the show has a fire soundtrack.

As for dirtiest, i played with a guy that would fairly regularly loosen the grip of his top hand and slide/quickly jerk/snap his stick upward (think of a butt ending motion without moving the top hand, like a reverse cue shot in billiards) causing the butt end to hit guys in the face. It was such a sneaky thing to do as the opponent wouldn't even have a moment to see it coming. I'd told him many a time what a bush league move it was and to quit it, which he didn't, and he did it once too often that i "lost it" and dropped the gloves and fought him myself (this was my team mate DURING a game!). The best part was he got 5 and a game for butt ending and 5 minutes for fighting (with auto ejection for fighting). The ref gave me a ten minute misconduct but NO major for fighting, which was important for three reasons. One i wasn't ejected from the game, two we weren't shorthanded the extra 5 minutes two men down, and three i didn't face "supplementary discipline" required by the league after each fighting major. The ref skated by me as i was being escorted by the linesman to the sin bin and gave me a tap on the backside and said "Great job kid, he got what was coming to him! I'll have to give you something for it, but you got my respect." One of my fondest, proudest memories of my hockey playing days. The other guy only played a couple more games with us and was unconditionally released for "disciplinary reasons". I got an "A" on my jersey the next game.

Just watched the Shorsey series for the second time...What a BEAUTY! All the players, Keeso and the WOMEN are unprecedented in ANY series! Shorsey's "WHAT?" just kills me TR (Hitch) is such a great get for them...The Three JIms are such BEAUTIES!... I liked Letterkenny but; this is a MILLION times more watchable.. It helps to LOVE hockey though...

When an actor has a dentist remove a strong healthy eye tooth in a perfect smile, you know he's 100% committed to the project. Jared went through that just to get the hockey gap tooth look that so many Canadians rock from playing the game.

I liked to fight at school so my parents signed me up for hockey. Too bad I live in Louisiana and had to play in line hockey. Wish we had ice, but Still was some of my favorite moments of growing up.

I’m still glad I witnessed many of Dolo’s heavy hits in his short time playing in the ECHL. I’m glad to see he’s still involved with hockey I mean being someone like him having multiple talents and being a rapper, it’s just amazing.

I was never much of a dirty player, but just for laughs I'll share some stories too. Three of them, but only one of them was actually in hockey, but I think my life as a hockey player/fan comes through in all of them. Back in junior hockey, we were playing an outdoors tournament, and one of my boys got hit up high. I'm a pretty small guy, a Saku Koivu type, so I'm not really built for hitting, but as the captain, I had to take a stand, so next shift, I made of their guys see the face of god behind their own net. Just a good old hard interference shoulder to the face. Got a penalty for that, went to the box, and next shift, my boy who originally got hit grabbed their guy by the neck and beat the shit out of him. And that's how you build team chemistry baby. Then, back in college, I was playing in a floorball tournament, and one of my boys got hit dirty over the boards. Didn't like that very much, so next shift, I found their smallest guy, and planted him face first into the brick wall behind their net (we were playing at a town sports hall slash swimming pool type of a place). They didn't appreciate the gesture, and some high crosschecks were thrown, until a big dude from my team pulled as apart and I was thrown in the sin bin again. Third time was in a friendly, charity soccer tournament, with us local boys versus the boys from a recently established immigrant centre. One of them was trying to get past me (I play a modern libero in soccer), and got me really hard on my ankle. Didn't appreciate that much, so the next time this guy was on the offensive, I absolutely destroyed him with a hard shoulder to the chest. Which is fine in hockey of course, but not very appreciated in soccer apparently. Although that one ended very amicably, somehow. Shook hands, talked about our lives, and parted as friends. And they were all good dudes, just not from a hockey culture, so a hockey hit on a soccer field seemed to come as a surprise.

So Shoresy comes out the same day I have my exam to become a financial advisor. The true question is do I skip the exam or stream the show during the exam?

I can’t eat it because I have a peanut allergy….. If he was in a locker room he would have been chirped to death on that one.
