You can really help that short landing by bleeding off the airspeed significantly. You’re deploying flaps WAY above VFE, sometimes with full flaps deployed still well above VFE.

IRL, the XCub has by far the largest power to weight ratio for any plane in its class. Step on the brakes and hit the gas to kick the tail up aster for a shorter TO. Come in with the nose high on idle on the approach. It stalls at less than 40kts for an even quicker SL.
