Either you're a fellow progressive frustrated by the Establishment's resistance to change, or you're a naziboy wishing that Cheeto Mussolini were still running the show. And make no mistake--I am a diehard Bernie guy--but, thus far, Mr Biden has exceeded all expectations, both from my ilk and from the naziboys clamoring for beheadings, cuz that's just what fanatical right-wingers always posit as a solution, no matter the problem at hand.

What is a shock l had when l poured interest in this period was to learn that Nazi Germany had a law that gave very harsh punishments to anyone caught ill-treating an animal, that Hitler was vegetarian, that Himmler ordered SS to breackfast on leek and no longer on ham ... Protecting animals from cruelty is highly laudable, praiseworthy, BUT that law was applied while African-Germans were forcibly stérilized, while Jews were steadily reduced to pariah, and other horrors were taking place.

While stationed in Germany, Bavaira was one of the favorite places to go. The Kehlisteinhaus (Eagle’s Nest) was worth the visit; once. Subsequent visits were because visiting friends and family insisted on seeing the damned place. The only way up there was by special buses with extra breaking. Then the fancy elevators with U-Boat diesels were remarkable, but the ‘haus was really not that big a deal. I can understand Hitler being a bit underwhelmed with the place. These are the precious of interviews in trying to see inside the mind of a monster, who treated his staff with some respects. When we all know what he did it seems to me he got paranoid of these new places as areas of danger?
@AnnaLVajda
@AnnaLVajda 3 жыл бұрын
I don't think he was paranoid lots of people wanted him dead. He would kill his own men so they turned on him too he had all his food tasted for poison that is a common precaution for high ranking people the Queen of England still has hers tasted.
@bmcg5296
@bmcg5296 3 жыл бұрын
@@AnnaLVajda never even thought about that part the poison. If they had access to poisons they could have fed this to him slowly? Especially as Germany was more advanced in nuclear reactions and weapons of this sort. A man called Hans Kammler was making weapons on this. Check out Tino Strukkman and you will see that the Germans had made and tested a small nuclear device using Russians as the experiments for this. They detonated two! So with nuclear fusion already in their hands. This could have been worked out to kill him slower? With delays on hours for it to work.

People think he was a mad man, he was fierly anti-semitic but the reason this lead to the holocuast was millions of others in Europe were also anti-Semitic, anti-gypsy, anti-homosexual, anti-liberal. All of those that did the killing, the executing, the rounding up were all too happy to blame their sins on the crazy Hitler when they were all to happy to do the killing the name of a new world order.

Amazing intereview. About Hitler, the mind of a phantasist, changing plans at a whim, people carrying out what they think he wants, very much the picture of a regime with no future, similarly as was the norm in Japan (culturally, thus is still so to this day in organizations and companies). Brings to mind I think it was Jordan Peterson talking about the banality of evil.

Thank you. It's always interesting to gain insights into the personalities and idiosyncrasies of these historical figures. For some reason the architects of evil arouse more interest. Perhaps it's because most people strive to keep their darker natures in check and do well toward others.
