i actually just put on a shower cap, then stocking cap, glue the hair on and let it dry while on my head so it doesn't shrink...and when its dry, i rip the shower cap out and just wear it like that

i have long hair that goes down to my butt and i do quick weave wigs all the time to change the color or do short hair styles without cutting my hair. if you have long hair you can do it you just need alot of gel and wrap and alot of stocking caps all you have to do it saturate your hair with gel or other products and keep on wrapping it around your head until it is molded to your head then blow dry until your hair gets hard then add 2 stocking caps and begin gluing your tracks. its really easy

The 1st net is to help keep your hair laid down. the saran wrap is to keep the glue from sticking to your real hair and the 1st net. the 2nd net is the base of the wig. after you finish the quick weave you let it stay on your head for about 15-20 or 30 minutes to make sure the glue has dried up and bonded to the 2nd net. then you remove the wig and set it to the side. take off the saran wrap and other net. then put your wig back on.

We are incredibly impressed that 1) you are not sweating bullets wearing all that plastic wrap in a closed bathroom and 2) don't have glue alllllllll over your nails... Gurl, very impressive!

@MsBrittany092 using the shower cap is for quick weaves wigs not for glue on quick weaves that stay on your head for a couple of weeks. Your hair/head would be sweaty and its just not a good idea.

@ask35me Yes! I totally agree with you. I love Ms. Chanda's videos...she is talented and confident and not afraid to share her tips. I've watched videos where the stylist only shows the after pics or a few progressive pictures and never gives details but Ms. Chanda is not stingy...she's philanthropic in her instructions and I like that. Because of her I was able to make two wigs and I got rave reviews about them. Thank you Ms. Chanda! Keep payin it forward girl!

TIP. Hi I got a Idea instead of using glues free from Morning glory serum, I went to the store and got some peel off mask and applied 3 coats of it on my my hair that' already prep with gel to mold it down. I think it works just as well as morning glory but cheaper. and when I am cleaning my lace wig i use goo gone spray gel to remove glue build up.

@chemetris IF U DON'T USE THE SHOWER CAP OR THE WRAP THEN THE GLUE WILL GO THRU THE WIG CAP AND ONTO UR HAIR WHICH WILL MAKE THE WIG STICK TO UR HEAD...WITH THE SHOWER CAP AND WRAP IT PREVENTS THAT...IT STOPS THE GLUE FROM STICKING TO UR HAIR
