@Clap4TheMoment they are called "in ears" its basically foldback so the guys can hear themselves and whats happening on stage. they can ask to hear just the guitars, or just piano or whatever. it gets very loud when u perform on stage so they need it to hear what they doing so they can sound good. all performers use them. sometimes they don't have them as "in-ears" they have them as speakers pointed back at the stage. hope that helps.

i read the article about them in Rolling Stones, they made me think about the band a lot more... but no matter what people say, they rock! I love they're music and i find they're much better live and in concert than on a CD... anyone agree?

i like them for their sound, great looks are just a bonus. i love heaps of band where they arent amazingly attractive but produce great music. short stack are one of the great australian bands and i am proud to have them. P.S. Shaun you're hair looks great short : ]

The reason behind Shaun having the stick is clearly because of his idolization of Freddie Mercury, one of the greatest front men of all time. One thing that has grown old on me is Bradie having his cymbals so high, it's just a gimmick, girls are so impressed by his drumming, don't get me wrong, he is a great drummer but a lot of people misconceive him going crazy to reach his high cymbals as talent.
