Awesome, thank you! Was looking for instruction on how to do this. Is there a way to set this up with another automation or shortcut for transactions that occur without linking a checking account to YNAB that are non Apple Pay initiated transactions?

Yes, you can link any card in your wallet as the trigger and in the YNAB automation you can make leave the account for the transaction blank. Your YNAB app will either attempt to fill the blank with your most likely account or prompt you to choose an account to record said transaction to.

I figured out how to get it to fill the “Payee” field automatically. but how can I get it to hit the “Save” button?
